15th September 2009 – Topping Out Ceremony
On 15th September 2009 the Mayor of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham celebrated the completion of the structural works at Dagenham Library with a topping out ceremony on the roof of the new development, completing the final part of the roof’s construction to commemorate this key milestone. The Mayor was joined by the Leader of the Council, Councillor Liam Smith and representatives from the Council, scheme development partners Bouygues Development and the Southern Housing Group plus Design and Build contractor Bouygues UK.
